Elise Kane attended OCAD university from 1967 in advertising graduating in 1970 with AOCA degree. She illustrated books on her dog Taggy and two other dogs from next door in 1974 to 1986 . The Adventures of Mickey, Taggy , Puppo and Cica and How they Discover Toronto, Ottawa, Thousand Islands, Montreal, Budapest, Vienna, France , Switzerland , Gardiner Museum. They were translated in Hungarian, French, Polish, Spanish, Russian. She painted oils and oil based with water , pastels, water colours on canvases.
